Position Description
We have a vacancy in Interflora Portfolio Brands (IPB) for a Senior Marketing Manager to be responsible for the strategy and management of the IPB marketing activities.
In this important new role, you’ll be responsible for the Flying Flowers (FF) and Flowers Direct (FD) brands, being the brand advocate across the business and being responsible for developing and implementing the brand strategies.
Reporting to the Head of IPB, you’ll also take responsibility for managing the marketing plans, ensuring the FF and FD marketing activities are developed and implemented effectively against budgets and sales targets are delivered.
This is a leadership role where you’ll also hold responsibility for leading, managing and motivating the FF and FD Marketing teams, in delivering their relevant Operating Plans and Departmental Plans.
Required Experience
The successful applicant will have:
• A strong track record of marketing management in a retail environment
• Proven experience of managing marketing campaigns aimed at multi-retailer and mass consumer groups
• Proven experience of setting a marketing strategy, including direct marketing and online marketing
• Marketing and retail experience from a range of organisational backgrounds
• Extensive knowledge of Marketing principles gained from experience and / or through a CIM Diploma, or equivalent qualification
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills
