Position Description

We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations Manager in our Consumer division to manage the Interflora Consumer websites and take the overall responsibility for product set-up, site structure, content management systems and delivery services. As the Ecommerce Operations Manager, you’ll also measure technical site performance and manage the 3rd party website providers and agencies.

You’ll report to the Head of Ecommerce and manage a small team of your own, comprising an Ecommerce Assistant and an Ecommerce Product Executive to ensure the websites run smoothly and perform optimally in order to deliver annual sales of £90m. You’ll be tasked with ensuring our ecommerce sites perform to the highest possible standard given ongoing development and trading focus

You’ll play a big role as part of a wider ecommerce team and will also get to assist in development of front end and back end site propositions by offering insight to the Ecommerce Development Manager to ensure developments are embraced and managed by your team, post development.

Required Experience

In order to be a great success in this role you’ll need:
• Proven experience of working in an Ecommerce environment
• Experience of managing trading web sites
• Skills in the management of Content Management Systems
• An ability to create and develop processes that improve efficiencies within an Ecommerce environment
• Experience of leading and managing a small team
• Experience of managing external suppliers
• Good presentation and communications skills
