Position Description
We are looking for a great candidate with a keen interest in marketing to lead the provision of insight and to carry out analysis, to join the Consumer Marketing team as a Marketing Insight Analyst.
In this crucial role, you’ll really own marketing insight across all of our marketing channels. As a Marketing Insight Analyst you’ll own competitor analysis, which will inform business critical decisions and you’ll be the key contact for projects impacting the marketing database, interacting with internal & external stakeholders alike.
One of the critical elements of this role is to recommend best practice in areas such as customer segmentation and targeting. You’ll also take the lead in the analysis of marketing activity to identify trends and behaviours within the customer database.
Ultimately, you’ll provide analytical consultancy and customer and marketing insights to the business – turning data into actionable insights.
Required Experience
The successful applicant should have;
• Marketing and / or commercial experience
• Experience of working with databases and spreadsheets
• Experience of working with large volume, data-driven marketing campaigns
• Skills in statistical analysis techniques, systems and processes
• Great communication and influencing skills
• Sound judgement and an ability to self-manage and prioritise
