Position Description
We are looking to recruit 2 Technical Support Engineers to support all areas and aspects of the IT environments, providing technical management, development and problem solving to 2nd and 3rd line technical support teams.
You’ll be a highly technical IT professional, fully conversant with the overall setup, components and deployment of; network, telephony, messaging, storage and backup infrastructures, as well as being able to work with the technical aspects of cloud, virtualized and physical infrastructures.
In this highly technical IT role, you’ll take ownership of problems and drive them through to resolution. You’ll provide hands-on general technical support, including; account maintenance, configuration and the moving and installing of equipment.
Required Experience
In order to perform well in the role, we would expect you to have
• Proven experience in an IT technical support role at either 2nd or 3rd line
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Server, Microsoft Network and Office 365
• Excellent skills in and understanding of network technologies and network security (i.e. Firewalls, Web Proxy, Switches and gateways etc.
• Detailed understanding of virtual and cloud infrastructure
• Excellent communication and team working skills
