Position Description

Currently working from home but moving to hybrid (minimum 2 days per month in the office) from July 2022.

Are you a Search Engine Optimisation specialist or SEO expert that understands all there is to know about SEO best practice and real-world application? If you’re blessed with experience and knowledge in online retail, then this could be the role for you.

We’re looking for someone to join our team at Interflora as our SEM Manager that can be our SEO expert and lead a team accountable for all online search marketing activity including PPC.

At Interflora, we believe in creating beautiful moments for special people and this role will be crucial to delivering on that aim. You’ll be a self-starter that will use your analytical skills and judgement to identify trends and insights to plan for peak periods, delivering optimal visits and sales volumes against forecasts. You’ll also develop and manage activities such as our organic content strategy, link building and keyword bidding. In addition, you’ll be responsible for managing our external search agency suppliers as well as delivering campaigns optimised towards digital search success and to ultimately drive increased sales.

In this critically important role, you’ll deliver against agreed KPI’s (including sessions; orders; CPO & ROAS) for online search marketing planning, implementation, and measurement.

You’ll also get to work closely with our Brand team to guide keyword and SEO insights for the ideation and creation of new pages, supporting and managing improvements to the quality and quantity of our onsite content.

Required Experience

In order to perform well in the role, we would expect you to have;

• Excellent SEM skills and strong SEO experience
• Experience of content marketing and PR
• Skills in digital marketing and paid search techniques
• Strong commercial acumen
• Excellent analytical skills and sound judgement
• A professional qualification in Marketing or equivalent experience

Site Description

We're working remotely at the moment and moving to hybrid in Summer 2022 when we will be in newly refurbished offices situated in the heart of Sleaford town centre – a beautiful market town just off the A17 and A15 and close to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire borders puts is within easy reach of Lincoln, Newark, Nottingham and Peterborough areas.

As part of our hybrid working trial, we will be asking all office based colleagues to come to the office for 2 days per month to immerse themselves in our culture and work collaboratively, face to face with other colleagues.
