Information Security Analyst - Interflora - Hybrid

Position Description

We are recruiting for an Information Security Analyst to work alongside the IT Security & Compliance Manager as part of our Technology team to help ensure that our information and systems are protected from unauthorised access or disruption.

In this role, you will work to implement managed security solutions and security controls and provide advice & guidance to business stakeholders on information security issues. You will assist in the development of secure operating procedures and ensure they align to our information security governance frameworks, following best practice and legal regulations.

This is a varied role where you will assist in delivering security improvements and would suit someone with a broad range of skills across the security spectrum, along with pragmatic thinking and effective communication skills to build relationships and support the organisation in its challenge to reduce risk and improve its security posture.

Required Experience

In order to perform well in the role, we would expect you to have;

• Good understanding of Information Security Standards/best practice & regulatory frameworks.
• Broad technical understanding of computer networks, operating systems, software, hardware & cloud infrastructure administration
• Good understanding of cyber security threats/risks and security controls (Including access control, vulnerability management, application security, SIEM, DLP, firewalls, antivirus).
• Experience in securing cloud-based infrastructure/services such as Microsoft Azure, O365, etc...
• Good relationship building and communication skills
• Professional qualification(s) or be working towards, in a related topic such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or equivalent experience.

Site Description

We're working remotely at the moment and moving to hybrid in Summer 2022 when we will be in newly refurbished offices situated in the heart of Sleaford town centre – a beautiful market town just off the A17 and A15 and close to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire borders puts is within easy reach of Lincoln, Newark, Nottingham and Peterborough areas.

As part of our hybrid working trial, we will be asking all office based colleagues to come to the office for 2 days per month to immerse themselves in our culture and work collaboratively, face to face with other colleagues.
